Dig in the Archives Finds Video Program - Reflections of Bernards Township

Video - Reflections of Bernards Twp

October 20, 2017 - Bernards Twp. - During a recent dig into the THSSH annual reports, one report mentioned a cable program highlighting the history of Bernards Township. Well we're happy to inform everyone that we found the program. Entitled  "Reflections of Bernards Township" features some of the area's most historic sites, images, and community leaders. Meet former Township historian June Kennedy, former Mayor Sandra Harris and Chief of Police Robert Moore as they discuss aspects of the history of the township. This program was originally aired on TKR Cable back in 1991.

Thirty six copies of "Reflections on Bernards" video tapes were originally producted. Six tapes were donated to local schools and the remainder were sold. This copy was eventually located at the Bernardsville Library's Ed Spinning history room. The VHS was converted to a DVD and is available for loan to THSSH members from the THSSH Reference Library. This video is a digital transformation of the DVD format to an online MP4 format for public viewing.
